On Veterans Day, Sangster Elementary held a heartfelt ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. The event featured performances by staff members, veterans representing various military branches, and performances by the 6th Grade Handbells and 5th and 6th Grade Choir.

The ceremony included a performace of "America for Me" by the staff ensemble, a beautiful rendition of the national anthem, sung by Assistant Principal Jennifer Redford, followed by flag raising, Pledge of Allegiance, and a captivating performance of "A Tribute to the Armed Services" and "On Veterans Day" by Handbell and Choir students.

Following the ceremony, Veterans visited classrooms and told stories and answered questions about their service. It was an honor to have these brave veterans share their stories with our students. We hope that this ceremony has inspired our students to appreciate the sacrifices made by our veterans and to strive for a brighter future.
