Allison JankovichCongratulations to Principal Allison Jankovich who was recognized as the FCPS 2021 Region 4 Outstanding School-Based Leader and one of the six finalists for the FCPS Outstanding School-Based Leader at this year's FCPS Honors event, held at Jiffy Lube Live on June 9th.

Allison is a compassionate leader who places the needs of each student at the forefront of every decision. She creates possibility out of impossibility and exemplifies collaboration to remove barriers. She guides teachers to make data-driven decisions leading to targeted interventions. She empowers others to build positive relationships and never asks others to do what she isn’t willing to do herself. Allison is serving as acting principal for the third time in eight years and has risen to the occasion by demonstrating effective leadership and tremendous calm during a global pandemic. Allison takes pride in her school community and because of her leadership, the Sangster staff and students have gone beyond what they thought was possible this year.
