As outlined by FCPS Regulation 1367.2, school principals shall offer options to nonprofit organizations that would like to make their materials available to students and parents. For the 2021-22 school year, Sangster will offer two dates Community Flyers may be sent home with students. Flyers must be related to the schools' educational mission, be age-appropriate, and include the disclaimer "These materials are neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Fairfax County School Board, the Superintendent, or this School” clearly on the flyer.
Community Flyer distribution dates for the 2021-2022 school year are September 30, 2021 and March 10, 2022. Community organizations should submit an electronic copy of the flyer to the school for approval a minimum of ten business days in advance of the distribution date. Once approved, the organization is required to make 35 sets of 30 copies each. Copies must be delivered to the school office no later than 4PM on the Monday prior to the Community Flyer distribution date. Questions may be directed to Debra Hoke at @email.
